Why Android?
Cost. Androids have lower total cost of ownership. This is mainly because Google offers free Device Management for Non-Profits. Apple does not offer this.
Missed Authenticator Pop-up.
Sometimes when you receive a Pop up on your Phone from MS Authenticator when you log into your PC, you may miss it. To get it back, scroll down from the top of the screen and touch the Authenticator notification pop-up.
If it is not there, then on your device you can resend the authenction and can change it to text code if needed.
Create a Wi-Fi Hotspot on your Phone.
Watch the video and follow the instructions. (Go to Android Settings-Connections-Mobile Hotspot and Tethering-Click on the word Mobile Hotspot- Turn it on-Note the network name and password it creates. Then on your computer connect to that Wi-Fi network. Same as you would to your home Wi-Fi.) Remember that data charges could apply so disconnect from it when its not longer needed.
Change the Voicemail or name annoucement on your cell
Bring up your phone dialer. Long press the number 1 to automatically call your VM. Enter your password when prompted. Go to menu options 4 then 3 and follow the prompts. Be sure to call your phone after to check your message.
